Precautions for air compressors

1. The air compressor should be parked away from steam, gas and dust. The intake pipe should be equipped with a filter device. After the air compressor is in place, the gasket should be wedged symmetrically.
2. Always keep the outside of the storage tank clean. Welding or thermal work near the gas tank is prohibited. The gas storage tank should be hydrostatic test once a year, and the test pressure should be 1.5 times the working pressure. Air pressure gauges and safety valves should be inspected once a year.
3. The operator should be specially trained, must fully understand the structure, performance and function of the air compressor and auxiliary equipment, and be familiar with the operation and maintenance procedures.
4. The operator should wear work clothes, and the female comrade should tuck the hair braid into the work cap. It is strictly forbidden to operate after drinking, do not engage in things unrelated to operation, do not leave the job without authorization, and do not decide to replace the work of non-local operators without authorization.
5. Before starting the air compressor, do a good job of inspection and preparation according to the regulations, and pay attention to opening all valves of the air storage tank. After the diesel engine is started, it must be heated at low speed, medium speed and rated speed, and pay attention to whether the readings of each instrument are normal before it can run with load. The air compressor should gradually increase the load to start, and each part can operate at full load after it is normal.
6. During the operation of the air compressor, pay attention to the reading of the instrument (especially the reading of the air pressure gauge) at any time, listen to the sound of each department, and stop and check immediately if abnormal conditions are found. The maximum air pressure in the gas storage tank shall not exceed the pressure specified on the nameplate. Every 2~4h of work, the condensate oil water discharge valve of the intercooler and the gas storage tank should be opened 1~2 times. Do a good job of cleaning the machine, after the air compressor is running for a long time, it is forbidden to rinse with cold water.
7. When the air compressor is stopped, the exhaust valve of the air storage tank should be gradually opened, the pressure should be slowly reduced, and the speed of the diesel engine should be reduced accordingly, so that the air compressor can run for 5~10 seconds at no load and low speed. After the air compressor stops, the diesel engine continues to run for 5 seconds at low speed and then stops. In winter, the temperature is lower than 5 degrees, and the cooling water without antifreeze should be drained after shutdown.
8. When cleaning the heat sink, do not use the combustion method to remove the pipeline oil. Maintenance work such as cleaning and fastening must be carried out after shutdown. When blowing parts with compressed air, it is strictly forbidden to aim the air outlet at the human body or other equipment to prevent injury and destruction [3].
9. Regularly (weekly) conduct a manual exhaust test on the air tank safety valve to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the safety valve [3].
