1. Install a muffler
The main noise source is the intake and exhaust ports, and a suitable intake and exhaust muffler should be selected. The spectrum of air compressor intake noise is low-frequency characteristics, and the intake muffler should choose a resistant structure or an impedance composite structure based on individual and resistance. The exhaust air pressure of the air compressor is large and the air velocity is high, and a small hole muffler should be used at the exhaust port of the air compressor.
2. Set up anechoic pits
The underground or semi-underground tunnel of the anechoic tunnel, the wall of the tunnel is made of bricks with good sound absorption. Connect the air intake pipe of the air compressor with the anechoic pit so that the air enters the air compressor through the anechoic pit. The use of anechoic pit can greatly reduce the intake noise of the air compressor, and the service life is longer than that of the general muffler [2].
3. Establish a sound insulation cover
After installing mufflers or setting up mufflers in the inlet and exhaust ports of the air compressor, the airflow noise can be reduced to less than 80db (a), but the mechanical noise and motor noise of the air compressor are still very high, so the sound insulation cover should also be installed on the unit of the air compressor.
4. Hanging space sound absorber.
