Second, the function of the air storage tank is to maintain the pressure of the pipeline network of the compressed air system from large fluctuations. Since the amount of air consumption at the end of the compressed air system is generally not stable at all times, the air receiver should be used to balance the stability of the system pressure and reduce the frequent loading and unloading of the air compressor. Another function is to cool the dried compressed air again to reduce the moisture content in the compressed air.
Third, for individual compressed air systems, such as the displacement of the air compressor is large (such as centrifugal air compressor), the volume of the system pipe network is also relatively large (the diameter of the pipeline is large and long) and the air consumption is relatively stable, or it can not be equipped with an air storage tank. However, general compressed air systems need to be equipped with air receivers.
Fourth, the screw air compressor does not have a place to store compressed air, once the compressed air is generated, it must be used, so the way of working is not ideal, with the air tank, you can first hit the compressed air into the air storage tank to a certain pressure, and then use the air pressure to drop to a certain extent, the compressor and then start, so that both from the perspective of energy utilization and compressed air quality are more ideal. So it's not okay without a gas tank.
Fifth, for the required compressed air volume is small and the equipment is not used frequently, the screw air compressor does not need an air storage tank. However, considering the stability of the performance of the screw air compressor, the pressure, constant and quality of the compressed air should be equipped with an air storage tank.
